I think yesterday was the most swollen I have been yet! I spent all but one hour, in which I was making dinner, last night on my back with my feet elevated...and no it was not because I was enjoying myself...but because this is the only position I can get myself in which relieves the incredible swelling in my ankles and feet... and drinking lots of water. It did help, as my ankles and feet were not as swollen this morning. The swelling is the only thing I don't enjoy about this experience.
I am also getting very sick of my cat. I can remember seeing other new Mom's who had grown increasingly irritated and homecidal toward their own feline friends and promised myself I would never become like that with my furry Mr. T. But the past few days have left me wanting to hurl him across rooms without a care in the world. He wakes me up all night long. Last night, it was his snoring. I was awakened to what I thought was the sound of a man's voice. As I laid there, a little terrified, I calmed my breathing enough to hear that it was the sound of my crazy cat SNORING! Who has a cat the snores so loudly that it wakes them up at 1 AM...apparently I do. The other thing he does, which is making me insane, is walk back and forth across out pillows which is great for me especially because all 14 pounds of him steps on my hair, pulling it. Then he lays down on my hair and starts purring. God love him, he loves us, so much that he crawls on top of my head at 3 AM and purrs to his little hearts content...all the while I want to throw him against the wall. Then about 5:45, I awaken to him kneading my arm. For what reason, I do not know. Just with his little paws kneading back and forth on my forearm...its probably some sort of sign that he's caring for me...whatever. If he truly cared for me, he'd let me sleep. Little f$*&%er. He is about to be evicted from the bedroom. All of this makes me wonder...am I turning into one of those women that I couldn't understand not so many months ago? I think it might be happening.

Your furry Mr. T sounds like both my cats. I don't get the walking across the pillows pulling hair thing, either. I have one that snores loudly, too. Cats are weird. And I wouldn't take anything that you're feeling the last part of your pregnancy too seriously, hormones do strange things -ha! And I think the last part of your pregnancy is miserable so you get to the point that you don't care how they get the baby out, you just want to be done!
ReplyDeleteLOL! We lock our cats out of our room to avoid any of this from happening.
ReplyDeleteDont worry about wanting to hurl your cat!
Mr. T is a smart little kitty - he loves you SO much he is preparing you for many sleepless nights! LOL
ReplyDeleteKitties are funny little creatures. And in my experience, they never seemed all that upset at a friendly toss across the room;^)
ReplyDeleteJack use to HUMP me in the middle of the night. He got kicked across the room a time or two!
